Welcome to this online course, offered as part of the Civil Society Alliances for Digital Empowerment (CADE) training programme, which strengthens the ability of CSOs – especially in the Global South – to engage effectively in digital policy processes.
This course focuses on the diplomatic, negotiation, and advocacy skills that civil society organisations need in order to participate meaningfully in regional and global policy spaces. While technical knowledge is important, experience shows that influence in multistakeholder forums depends just as much on diplomacy, coalition-building and the ability to sustain constructive relationships with governments, business and other stakeholders.
