Welcome to this self-paced course, Internet Governance for CSOs, offered as part of the Civil Society Alliances for Digital Empowerment (CADE) training programme, which strengthens the ability of CSOs – especially in the Global South – to engage effectively in digital policy processes.

This course forms part of the Technical Knowledge Track. It introduces the key dimensions of internet governance (IG) and digital policy, with a focus on issues that affect CSOs. The course provides a structured yet flexible learning path to understand how the internet is governed, who makes the rules, and how these decisions influence rights, security, and development.
