Diplo’s AI Apprenticeship is all about learning by doing. You’ll explore generative AI (genAI) tools by actively using them and applying your AI knowledge to areas of personal interest such as international relations, digital governance, and tech diplomacy. You can select from Diplo’s tentative list of topics (mentioned in the application form) or propose one that aligns with your interests.

The AI Apprenticeship is ideal for researchers and practitioners in diplomacy, global governance, and international relations. The most creative and successful participants will be offered positions as Diplo AI Fellows and participate in Diplo’s research and teaching activities.
